On May 5th there were several parties in the Community
We are very fortunate no one was hurt. Safety of all is a very big concern. People die everyday because of drunk drivers. Don’t let your family and friends drive drunk.
At 11:16pm a dark color Chevy , we believe to be a Malibu drove directly into the fire hydrant on the corner of Pecky Cypress Way and Golden Cypress Ct. The driver backed the car into the light post causing the globe to drop to the ground and brake. The car suffered major damage to the front passenger side and the rear end of the car. When the driver was spotted by an incoming resident he turned around and drove back through the community leaving behind car parts. It was evident the driver was intoxicated because of the irradiate behavior that the car was being driven. The driver stayed in the community for an additional 23 minutes before leaving almost hitting the exit gates and swerving down the road.
A hit and run accident was reported to the Florida Highway Patrol the next morning when the accident to discovered.
Please help keep our neighborhood safe.
